I've worked on a handful of products in my tenure at two agencies, from an internal tool to manage customer experiences at a boutique hotel chain to an EMR that redefines the care experience for healthcare providers.

Additionally, all of the metrics and progress can be easily pushed to a public facing report for anyone to browse online.

Dune Resorts

Goals

Create a desktop app to manage front desk operations across all hotel properties. Internal tool allows users to manage guest reservations, communicate directly with guests and staff, and directly effect online booking prices based on availability.

Develop an owner's portal offering unit availbility and reservations directly to owners and investors. Generate detailed financial reporting availabile via dashboard view or PDF.

Build a mobile app for housekeeping and maintenance team members, offering them control over their daily workload, prioritizing tasks based on reservation turnover, and escalating room problems to maintenance staff as needed.

Role

User interviews, user personas, user flow mapping, information architecture design, wireframe design, low fidelity prototyping.

UI design, design system management, high fidelity prototyping, dashboard design, document design, mobile and desktop product design.

Dune Resorts Wave tool

Dune Resorts is a Montauk-based boutique hotel company. I have maintained their consumer-facing reservation flows as well and developed two internal tools.

Wave is an internal tool for front-desk management, allowing control over all guest reservations, ownership reports for subleased vacation rentals, custom booking portals for owners, and a messaging tool to contact and update guests as needed.

Wave Housekeeping

I also built a mobile-based app for the maintenance and cleaning staff at Dune's properties to track tasks on a daily cycle and allow users to delegate or escalate issues to other team members.

Canvas Medical

Goals

Create product's design system to fit the company rebrand

Increase legibility of interfaces, and offer improvements to user experience across product.

Develop workflow to generate editable design files from an existing product that was built in exclusively development phases.

Role

User flow mapping, UX analysis, stakeholder interviews.

UI design, design system management, high fidelity prototyping, dashboard design, desktop product design.

Canvas's unique EMR is a keyboard controlled, human centered tool that shifts the cumbersome dynamic of charting and patient care into an easier more fluid process with a text driven interface that uses predictive text to save time and allow medical teams to focus more of their time on care while creating easier to read medical data for future reference.

After Canvas's rebrand I was tasked with taking a product, that was built with off-the-shelf components; and updated the design system. Aside from the visual refresh, I was also tasked with improving the user experience and overall interface of the product, with a focus on increased legibility and information density.

At the time there was no design file so I had to develop a workflow to convert the existing product to a Sketch file, then build a UI system from the new brand and manage delivery to the external engineering team.
